Abstract Vibriosis is the primary bacterial illness shrimp farmers face due to mass death in young shrimp, called Early Mortality Syndrome (EMS). The etiology of this disease Vibrio parahaemolyticus bacterium. Garlic ( Allium sativum L.) one natural compounds that can suppress growth bacteria. This study aims assess effect garlic extract on parahemolyticus bacteria 96 percent ethanol solvent at concentrations 20%, 40%, 60%, and 80%. Kirby-Bauer disc diffusion method utilized, which estimates diameter inhibitory zone surrounding disc. Making by maceration using 96% evaporated with a rotary vacuum evaporator. results showed 80% had antibacterial activity V. an average inhibition 4.9 mm, 8.4 9.4 11.9 respectively. concluded extracts have against .
